A life long athlete, Tim Taylor developed a passion for wrestling at an early age and never looked back. Rising to the top ranks of amateur wrestling, dominating his weight classes through high school. He looked to carry that momentum as a NCAA athlete having been awarded a scholarship, and eventually make the US Olympic Wrestling Team. Unfortunately a freak shoulder injury sidelined his collegiate efforts and set him to many months of rehabilitation after surgery.
It was during rehab at a Delaware based local gym, Mike Womer’s 1614 Fitness in Bear, that Tim Taylor came in contact with The Heavyweight Sean Royal. Seeing a similar passion for sport, Sean Royal immediately took Tim Taylor under his wing and the two quickly became legends in the gym. It was not long before the itch to wrestle again struck Tim Taylor who immediately began his training & transformation from amateur wrestler to professional thanks to his mentor Sean Royal. Success has been quick thanks to Sean Royal’s veteran leadership & pro wrestling knowledge as this Jr. Heavyweight is currently wearing RCP Gold in the form of the RightCoastPro Tag Team Championship.
You can catch ‘The Heavyweights’ in action at the RCP Arena located at the Greater Newark Boys & Girls Club of Delaware on a regular basis.
